Megitfred

For years Al, Heywood, and fred have dished out big, honkin' spoonfuls of love and respect to the tempestuous Meg and her creaky knee. Now, after all that selfless support, Meg has finally, FINALLY seen fit to link the Bicoastals on her blog (in the NE section which kinda leaves Heywood outside the loop, but that's kinda where he belongs anyway).

In honor of this momentous occasion, Moveitfred pays his respects to one of the great TRANSPLANTED Mass (which is near NH, as far as Moveitfred knows) bloggers of renown. Posted below is Moveitfred's favorite image of the stunningly beautiful and complex Meg (and JD, you understand what Moveitfred means....)

Fred, whoa, slow down. I can understand how Meg's rampant consumerism might make you think she's harboring an inner Republican, but NH? She's from Philly (yes, that Philly, the one with the crumbling buildings, crappy food, and surly bellhops) and transplanted to the People's Republic of Massachusetts, Easthampton to be exact (I know, you thought that was two words and out on Longisland). You really need to get off and get off that island more.

freddy never did well in geography. He once thought Istanbul was outside Houston. fred will have to engage the rarely used edit key.

Freddy:

Istanbul was Constantinople
Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Now it's Turkish delight on a moonlit night

Every gal in Constantinople
Lives in Istanbul, not Constantinople
So if you've a date in Constantinople
She'll be waiting in Istanbul

Even old New York was once New Amsterdam
Why they changed it I can't say
People just liked it better that way

So take me back to Constantinople
No, you can't go back to Constantinople
Been a long time gone, Constantinople
Why did Constantinople get the works
That's nobody's business but the Turks

Istanbul (Istanbul)

Tell Moveitfred more about these Istanbul/Constantinople gals. Do they like cheese?

One day can everyone who posts on this blog, post a picture of themselves so we can all get an idea of who we are talking to? No real names, just pics and your blogger alias. And if you are too nerdy, I'm sure the bicoastals will do what's right and block you from posting again.

Dear Anonymous,

Great idea! Moveitfred was thinking the same thing. Why the lack of disclosure among the bicoastal faithful?

To get this groundswell started, here's a pic of Moveitfred.
